BAIT-CAL TO RELEASE NEW FILM ON NATION OF ISLAM

Los Angeles, CA – Muslim News Magazine announced on Friday it has began production on an epic new documentary on the Nation of Islam. The Film, which has not yet been titled, will detail the complete history of the Nation of Islam. Movie producers say they will reveal new information about the organizations origins and where the concept was conceived.

“This will be the definitive film on the Nation of Islam,” stated documentary producer, Lon Muqaddin. “We have done extensive research and interviewed some of the foremost historians. The Nation of Islam story has never been told like this.”

Samir Muqaddin, who has been documenting the growth of Muslims in America since 1972, wrote the script for this historic movie. Further details of the story have not been released but the official movie trailer is scheduled to come out in late March.

“Most people don’t understand the depth of this amazing movement”, stated Lon Muqaddin. The Nation of Islam’s impact was felt worldwide and the time has come for everybody to understand why.”

Muslim News Magazine, who will produce this project, has become a leading provider of American-Islamic programming. The company is perhaps best known for it’s award-winning documentary “8 Centuries of Muslims in America,” which literally rewrote the history of Muslims in the Americas. MNM, a subsidiary of BAIT-CAL, has been a staple of the Islamic news media in America since 1991.

“Our marketing plan for this movie includes a Global distribution approach. We have created strategic partnerships in Muslim countries around the world and the demand for this documentary is very high”, added Lance Grandison, Vice President of Program Development for BAIT-CAL. “The international film market is very lucrative, which makes investors very eager to fund these types of films.”

A release date has not been set for the movie, but production is proceeding fast. Segments have already been shot from around the country and BAIT-CAL is making available previously unseen footage from its stock footage library.

“We want to make the history of Muslims in America available to Muslims and non-Muslims across the globe”, Grandison said. “The Nation of Islam is a pivotal piece of that history.”
